OH&S Superintendent - FIFO Perth

You are an experienced, self-motivated OH&S Superintendent to lead the Occupational Health and Safety team for their underground mining and underground project areas of the sites.  This role is on a FIFO roster. Reporting to the OH&S Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of OH&S. 

The core responsibilities of this role include:

• Promote compliance with the OHS Management System
• Implement and continuously improve site OHS procedures
• Ensure compliance with relevant OHS legislation
• Manage the Event Reporting System
• Provide guidance and training in OHS matters
• Coordinate emergency response activities
• Promote OHS performance improvement
• Provide advice and support to management

Ideally you will have the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in OHS / related discipline
• Minimum 5 years OHS experience
• Working knowledge of OHS management systems
• Experience in occupational risk management
• Enthusiasm for coaching and mentoring
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Current unrestricted driver's license
• Legal entitlement to work in Australia on a permanent basis
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite
