Introduction

  • A fantastic opportunity exists for a rock engineer within a top mining company. 

Minimum Requirements

  • The successful candidate must be in possession of a relevant tertiary qualifications in Rock Mechanics / Geology, have 8 years experience in mining engineering or strata control, as well as a COM Rock Mechanics Certificate (for Metalliferous Mines). Being a member of the professional body SANIRE will be an advantage.  
Job Specification
  • Candidates being considered will be responsible for all rock engineering services and expertise in supporting the safe operation and performance of the mine, as well as a demonstrated ability to meet technical and responsibility requirements.
