About the Company
A small ASX listed WA Resource Company is looking to develop a new project located close to Kalgoorlie. As a result of recent acquisitions, the company now has a broad range of assets including gold, silver, zinc, copper and lead, plus additional advanced mineral exploration projects and a fully permitted processing facility. You will be working with an exciting new startup project taking it from exploration to production phase.
About the Role
As the resource geologist you will be responsible for calculating resources, resource modeling, block modeling, reconciliations, and compilation of resource and ASX reports, budgeting and unit cost reporting. There is a chance to move in to a senior mine geologist position over time. You will report to the Geology Manager and work alongside senior geologists, site supervisor and office staff. You will be responsible for supervision and delegation of duties as required to other staff including a geostatistician, geologists, graduate geologists and field technicians
About You
You will be tertiary qualified as a geologist with at least 5 years experience in a similar role, with a focus on resource modeling. Ideally you will be competent to sign off on JORC statements, plus resource and ASX reports. Experience in production phase will be highly regarded as will experience dealing in precious and/or base metals.
