Maintenance Supervisor (Mining Shovel Repair)

Salary: $75 000-$80 000

We are currently looking for a Mobile Equipment Maintenance Supervisor (Shovel Repair) for our client who has been in the mining industry for over 100 years.

Description:

The chosen candidate will give direction to mine maintenance personnel including Auto Mechanics and Welders, on a variety of topics. The incumbent is to be available to reports at all times during each shift.

Key Responsibilities :

• The chosen candidate will provide leadership and coordination in the planning, implementation, and improvement of the maintenance management process
• Focus on the execution of daily, weekly and major repair plans
• Arrange and assign job tasks for crew before the beginning of each shift.
• Respect the provisions of collective agreement at all times
• Follow and participate in the grievance process as necessary
• Oversee the safe completion of job tasks

Experience:

• The ideal candidate will possess a Mechanical Technology diploma or Inter-provincial Red Seal in a mechanical field (other combinations of education and experience will also be considered).
