Mechanical Resident Engineer

A position has risen with a client in Delmas for a Resident Mechanical Engineer on a 12 months contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Quality and Statutory control for
  • Mechanical, Piping and Auxiliary structures
  • Reports
  • To Project Manager

Requirements:

  • Engineering qualification / equivalent
  • Project Management experience
  • 8 years experience in civil / mining / construction

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, evaluate and quantify installation progress
  • Quality and installation assessments with QCP’s
  • Contractual specification assessments
  • Equipment verification, approval
  • Installation verification
  • Erection progress
  • Design verification
  • As build verification to drawings and design
  • Risk assessments
  • Statutory assessment / verification / approval
  • Punch list creation and sign off
  • Data pack compilation & Handover
Remuneration
