Mine Planning Superintendent

Reqs:

  • BSc Degree in Mining Engineering
  • Extensive experience in mining related software:
  • SURPAC with mine scheduling
  • MINE 2.4D with EPS
  • DATAMINE
  • Indepth understanding of the mine-planning and scheduling process, especially in open-cast brown fields and green fields projects
  • +10 years relevant exp (preferably open-cast coal mining) including 5 years as a Mine Planner
  • Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency will be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, interpret and execute LOM and other mine planning and scheduling models
  • Oversee the complete mining process from development of mine plans to actual delivering product to the plant
