Underground Mining Equipment Representative

The role would :

• Secure a continuous flow of orders at maximum profitability and achieve sales targets through the maintenance of excellent customer relationships, constant exposure of the company’s new and existing products, identifying new markets and project opportunities and preparing accurate tender documents that are within company guidelines.
• Provide accurate selection of equipment based on experience and application while adding value to existing operational processes. Ensure continued update of any sizing programs, conducting equipment selections in accordance with enquiry specifications and meet performance guarantees.
• Ensure accurate costing and realistic estimating on all tenders by soliciting competitive prices and building supplier relationships.
• Ensure co-operation with internal departments on successful projects to improve margins, gain value engineering through feedback and facilitating smooth transition from sales to contracts and in accordance with work instructions
• 5 years experience in a mining equipment environment.
• Be able to make presentations for customer and use presentation tools.
• Some national and international travel to client sites

Salary : $95,000-$115,000 plus benefits, bonus .
