Job Description:
Accountant responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Works collaboratively with others inside and outside of accounting at all levels of the organization to facilitate efficient operation of the business
• Prepare journal entries and reporting for Support Service entities
• Work closely with Operations personnel to ensure accounting needs are met
• Prepare and post journal entries to process adjustments as required
• Assist with setting up any new Support Services entities
• Assist in all team activities in the Oracle/EBS project
• Assist with other Support Services processes as needed
• Miscellaneous ad hoc activities and special projects as required or assigned by supervisor or Assistant Controller

Required Skills:
The successful candidate for this position will meet the following requirements:

• Accounting degree – BS or BBA in Accounting required
• Licensed CPA or CPA eligible
• Proactive self-starter
• Inquisitive with a need to understand the “why” not just the “how-to”
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Able to interact with employees outside of accounting at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently and as member of a team
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
• Working knowledge of Horizon, Oracle and COGNOS is a plus
