Due to unprecedented business growth, Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (http://www.hitachi-c-m.com/au/) have NEW full time permanent positions for Heavy Diesel Fitters/Plant Mechanics to join our expanding Perth FIFO team
These positions will involve FIFO from Perth to Murrin Murrin on a 2/1 roster
Murrin Murrin is regarded as Australia's longest life nickel producer and is the world's only single-site latertie nickel producer

As a key member, you will be responsible for:

• Performing maintenance repairs on a wide range of Hitachi mining equipment including our large hydraulic excavator fleet
• Site breakdowns
• Undertaking diagnostic work
• Liaising with technical support staff
• Providing timely customer service

To be successful in this role:

• You will hold relevant trade qualifications
• Experience in maintenance/servicing of mining or earthmoving equipment is essential
• Good communication skills
• Have a safety focus and abide by site safety processes
