About the role of Bid Manager:
Reporting to the Sales & Tendering Manager this role will be responsible for the preparation and submission of bids/tenders for turnkey substation projects.

You will have a proven background in managing tender responses, expression of interest and any other forms of offer to customers for turnkey substations up to 500kV. 

Responsibilities for The Bid Manager:

• Participate during project pre-qualification stage.
• Prepare estimate analysis sheet and represent tenders in tender reviews.
• Ensure customers receive a complete competitive offer and technical solutions in accordance with their requirements.
• Work in partnership with sourcing team to compile request for quotations, obtain prices for equipment and prepare costing and estimation sheets.
• Prepare supplier cost analysis to ensure offer is competitive.

Person Specification for The Bid Manager:

• Tertiary qualification in electrical engineering
• Technical and commercial business understanding of turnkey substations up to 500kV, and associated product systems and technologies.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Good knowledge of local commercial laws, commercial terms and conditions.
