Electric Drive Mining Truck Support - International Residential/FIFO Positions

Based in Brisbane, Hitachi Construction Machinery's Support Engineering division plays a key role globally in supporting our major customers by ensuring the link between customer, dealer and factory across our range of mining and construction products.

With a focus on the key regions of Australia, Indonesia and Africa, our Support Engineering team also supports sites in South America, Europe and Middle East with future expansion planned into other major and emerging mining centres.

Due to this growth we are currently looking for Product Specialists - Mining Truck to support a range of customers and sites internationally on the both the electrical and mechanical systems.


We currently have opportunities in:

• Chile - 2 year Residential Contract
• Turkey - 2 year Residential Contract
• Brisbane - FIFO role to sites based in Africa, Europe and Middle East
• Brisbane - Residential roles servicing Australia, Indonesia and South Africa

Reporting to the Product Support Manager, you will be responsible for effectively providing key support to projects within these regions from the delivery of Mining trucks, technical advice and support to liaising and reporting to all key stakeholders.

To be successful, you will need:

• A strong technical understanding of Electric Drive Mining Trucks
• Relevant Engineering or Trade Qualifications
• Senior experience within a Mining maintenance operation
• Knowledge of an OEM systems and process
• Strong understanding of computer systems and related administration process
