An excellent opportunity for Specialist Training & Development has arisen to join our Training & Development Dept. Residentially based in Balikpapan and reporting to the Manager Technical Training. You will manage and control all aspects of training with a focus on achieving the highest quality and standards of competency training outcomes and documentation under the level of leading hand across Thiess Indonesia business.
The scopes of your role will include but not limited to develop, implement and evaluate of plans for competency based learning and training activities within TCI so as to achieve effective and competent workforce; develop TCI Training Matrix for all Levels under the level of Leading Hand; analyse the learning and training needs and develop the training matrix regarding to the needs analysis; develop and do continual review of the soft skill & technical training Modules; develop yearly training calendar as well as maintaining the training calendar for all training; audit training trainers, and existing training modules to ensure quality and standards are met.
To be successful in this role you will need to have Min. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or English language. Minimum of 1 year experience in a mining site training department supervisory or coordinator position and minimum of 2 year experience in mining industry training competencies., You should strong communication skills (written & verbal), including good skills in English; facilitation skills; presentation skills; Competency Based training System principles and concepts; Learning and people development principles and concepts; Training Needs Analysis principles and concepts; Knowledge of training & development management processes. Another requirements are good team work, able to work independent and in under pressure condition, details, hard worker, and willing to learn new things.
