An excellent opportunity for Superintendent - Safety has arisen to join our Mining Operations Department team. Residentially based in Sangatta Project and reporting to Project Manager, you will prepare and maintain HSE Management Plans to suit TCI policies and Standards and Client contractual requirements. Provide leadership, motivation, direction and assistance to Site Management staff to achieve compliance with HSEMP policies, procedures and legislative requirement.
The scopes of your role will include but not limited to provide leadership, motivation, direction and assistance to Site Management staff to achieve compliance with HSEMP policies, procedures and legislative requirement; implement TCI Safety Management System, processes and programs to ensure the conservation of people, property, environment, and profits; Proactively advice and assist with the application of HSE Management Plans for the project; Establish risk assessment processes and ensure Risk Register is current and socialized to staff.
To be successful in this role you will need to have University Degree in Tertiary Education or S1 Occupational Health and Safety Discipline; 5 years' experience in open pit coal mining area as Safety Coordinator position; Understand about HSE standard on mining and plant activities, OHS Regulations , Statutory regulations, Understand TMS and KPC Prima Nirbhaya system. Having strong motivation, organize and provide direction to employees, supportive, communicative, and able to work under pressure are preferred character traits
