Senior Consultant - Process, Environmental and Industrial Engineering

• The Conshohocken, PA office of [Company] is seeking a Senior Consultant, to lead the growth and management of a design team involved in a wide variety of industrial, environmental remediation and wastewater treatment type projects involving mining, manufacturing, power, and pharmaceutical clients. The candidate will also be responsible for the identification of business opportunities, preparation of proposals, presentations to potential clients, and managing projects.
• Success in this position will require the ability to maintain existing client relationships while expanding the practice to utilize available resources. The ideal candidate will also be able to sell other [Company] services and collaborate with colleagues in other fields to deliver full service consulting solutions to a diverse set of clients.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading the design, permitting, construction, and operations & maintenance of treatment systems for industrial wastewater and environmental remediation (e.g. groundwater and soil);
• Leading the design, permitting, construction and commissioning of new, or upgraded, processes and engineered systems at operating facilities;
• Mentoring junior-level engineers;
• Technical review of detailed design reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications;
• Performing a variety of technical work in the initial planning and design phases of projects, including planning, scheduling, preparing engineering cost estimates, and leading meetings with clients and/or regulatory agencies;
• Performing a variety of technical work in the pre-construction and construction phases of projects, including supporting permitting efforts, preparation of contractor bid packages, and management of contractor work performance;
• Using creativity and objectivity to perform studies and technical assessments to arrive at the most cost effective, reliable technical solution.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant environmental and industrial consulting experience;
• PE Registration, multiple states preferred;
• Demonstrated business-development ability;
• Current experience with running multi-disciplinary/multi-phase projects;
• Current experience with active (operating) industrial facilities;
• Process experience in environmental and industrial applications;
• Ability to conduct conceptual engineering and feasibility evaluations;
• Strong report-writing and communication skills.
