Estimating Coordinator

We are currently looking for an engineering student currently enrolled in a mechanical, electrical or civil engineering program to fill our requirement within our estimating department. This position will be based out of our head office minutes from the Edmonton International Airport.

Transportation is required.

The primary function of the Estimating Coordinator is to support and to collaborate with the current estimating team in achieving their departmental objectives.

Primary responsibilities of this role include:

• Provide administrative support with guidance from your supervisor
• Assist in take-offs and closing bids
• Review construction drawings and documents
• Review construction contracts
• Material take off and cost estimating
• Coordination with subcontractors
• Assist with construction execution planning

Requirements of this role include:

• Currently enrolled in mechanical, electrical or civil engineering program
• Available for a 4 or 8 month co-op term with a January start
• Must have a vehicle as public transportation is not available
