Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include activities such as packaging finished product, process control, housekeeping, and other production related support on a multiple shift operation in a multi-level chemical manufacturing plant.  There will be frequent walking and climbing and operation of hand production tools.  This position requires mechanical or physical handling of raw materials and finished products.  There will be exposure to process fumes, acid solutions or solids.  The individual is required to wear appropriate safety and personal protective equipment at all times.  Cannot be allergic to chemicals used in various processes.  There is continuous responsibility for observing safety and environmental regulations and maintaining the area in a clean and orderly condition.

Required Education:

• High School diploma or GED required

Qualifications:

• The ability to work multiple shifts is necessary
• Ability to perform mechanical and/or physical movement and lift up to 60 pounds
• Strong reading comprehension and basic math skills
• Stable work history
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to follow direction, good work ethic, safety and quality conscious
