Environmental Scientist

• We are seeking a self-motivated Environmental Scientist to join our team in Lenexa, KS and become an integral part of our continued success story. This position entails field sampling, data collection, field equipment operation, manual labor associated with site assessment and remediation activities, technical report writing and other environmental projects.

Duties

• Position requirements include BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or other related field and 2-5 years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection.  Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices are essential. 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is required. 
• Candidate should also have experience with data management and report preparation and editing experience with Phase I and II ESAs is preferred.  
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record and personal vehicle are also required. Candidate must be willing to travel for one to two days most work weeks. 
• The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with superior communications skills who excels in a team environment.
