Maintenance Planner Shutdown

Our Client, a Blue Chip organisation, seeks a SAP experienced shutdown maintenance planner interested in contract work on one of their Pilbara iron ore mines.

You will be required to:

• Ensure that all tasks to be included for the scheduled shutdown (every 6 weeks)
• Working closely with the Task Owners to ensure all tasks are completed without incident, on time and to a high standard.
• Ensure all pre-risk and close out reports are completed by Task owners.
• Ensuring that the work completed during the shutdown is captured and stored using document control and a file structure.
• Ensuring that all work identified from engineering, PMs, corrective work orders, primary maintenance for the shutdown is included in the schedule and that all task have been classified.

To be considered you must have:

• Mechanical fitter/turner trade
• 3 years relevant maintenance planning experience in the mining industry
• Significant crushing and screening experience, ideally from an iron ore background
• Experience planning for major shutdowns (200 man +)
• Strong organisational skills in planning, scheduling and budgeting.
• Able to handle a fast paced environment
• Proficient with SAP (essential)
