Reporting to the General Manager, Product Support, this position leads a team of functional experts who work with branch operations and Original Equipment Manufacturers to implement and fully utilize available equipment technologies such as equipment health monitoring systems, global positioning systems, and machine control and equipment guidance systems. The incumbent maintains relationships with key management and product experts within OEM organizations and technologies providers with the goal of providing training and support for branch operations and customer's personnel in order to achieve the Company's mission and to implement and support the policies, goals and objectives established by the President, Chief Operating Officer and SMS Management.

Qualifications

• Proactive in keeping abreast of cutting edge machine information and communication technologies and best practices pertaining to the utilization and institution of these tools.
• General understanding of the electrical, hydraulic and powertrain systems of heavy equipment
• Minimum 3 years experience within the Heavy Equipment Business
• Trade certification in a relevant trade would be considered an asset or previous experience with machine control or machine health systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient communication skills in dealing with customers and O.E.M's
