Our client specializes in the heavy materials manufacturing space is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their team on a FT basis
Responsibilities
- Sourcing, purchasing, expediting and control all parts and materials
- Controlling inventory levels in conjunction with production scheduling
- Implementing and maintaining reporting of inventory, supply quality improvement and cost reduction
- Allocating purchased parts to the correct job
- Liaising and negotiating with customs and suppliers
- Receiving parts orders from existing clients
- Compiling purchased items list using supplied BOM's for job/project costing
Qualifications
- We would love to see candidates with procurement experience in industrial construction, mining, aggregate industry preferred
- 8+ years of experience in procurement
- Post-secondary diploma in a related field or equivalent work experience
