Responsibilities:

  • Perform mathematical computations, writing and engineering skills necessary to prepare reports and cost estimates.
  • Assist in the development of transportation contract documents.
  • Follow design standards, manuals, and requirements of Maryland and Federal design codes.
  • The expectation will be to work under supervision and gain more independence over time.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required. December 2012 graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Up to 3 years of transportation/industry-related or internship experience preferred.
  • Experience with Word and Excel is required.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to interface with all levels of personnel and management.
