EHS Co-op Program

Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. Our industrial products serve industries ranging from hydrocarbon, chemical and food processing to construction and mining.

Will be involved in one or more of the following activities: job hazard analysis, personal protective equipment, ergonomic, machine guarding and other health and safety assessments of job activities. All activities require time spent out on the shop floor and interfacing will all levels of employees. On the job training will be provided to the candidate. Data entry of assessment findings and results.

• Candidate needs to have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint). General knowledge of OSHA 1910 General Industry. Written and oral communication skills.
• Currently working towards the completion of a degree or achieved BS in safety or environmental engineering or related science discipline.
• 0-1 years minimum experience in EH&S compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Must be enrolled in an accredited University degree program - preferably looking for Engineering students with a focus on Environmental Sciences
• Experience: School enrollment - prior Internship / Co-op experience desirable
• Ind. Exp: School enrollment - prior Internship / Co-op experience desirable
