Overview: The People Bank is currently looking for an Instrument Repair Technician for their client, an international mining and natural resources company who has been in business for over 100 years.

Description

The chosen candidate will become part of our clients Electrical Department.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting repairs, calibrating, installation and testing on electrical and mechanical equipment .
• The equipment varies from solenoids, scales, indicators, recorders, capacitors, controllers, valves and PLC's
• Reading and updating equipment drawings as required
• Experience: Candidates will have at least completed an apprenticeship and have received an Instrumentation Repair Inter-provincial Certificate (Red Seal) .
• Five or more years of experience in a related field.
• Experience in an industrial and/or unionized environment will be considered an asset
