Project Manager - Head Contractor

Our client is a leading mid-tier head contractor with a first class reputation and a solid pipeline of work from a loyal and expanding client base. Operating across  Health, Commercial, Aged Care, Education and Infrastructure projects,  the company has the capability  to deliver a range of D&C new build and refurbishment projects to $25m +.
 
Joining a team of 5 Project Managers and reporting into a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects at any one time with the support of dedicated office and site based staff including Contract Administrators. 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Client negotiations
• Client liaison
• Construction programming
• Cost planning and budgeting and weekly / monthly project reports.
• You will be overseeing up to 4 projects at anyone time with each valued between $2m and $20m.

Skills and Experience

• Be degree level qualified in a Construction related course.
• Have at least 10 years experience working for a reputable head contractor across a variety of building (non-residential) projects,
• 3 years or more as stand alone Project Manager.
• Extensive experience using programming software is a must ideally MS Projects or similar.
• Show a proven track record of managing all aspects of commercial projects to the value of $10Mil+ from start to finish.
• Be prepared to travel up to 1 hour to projects from an office base.
