Dispatcher

Job Description

• Answer phone calls from customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Process phone orders as requested or as appropriate.
• Responsible for entering sales order information into Sales Database and Plant Billing System and resolving ticket/billing kick outs.
• Manage paperwork files (quotes, VMC's, etc.) as necessary and as directed by the Supervisor(s).
• Communicate effectively with plant personnel and trucking companies.
• Work cooperatively with the sales department to maximize price, volumes and product mix.
• Resolve complaints and various issues with initiative and effectiveness under the general guidelines of supervision.
• Maintain good relations with customers by providing accurate product price and use information.
• Prepare and maintain necessary paperwork for the efficient execution of quotations and sales orders
• Independently quote stone prices for small jobs. 
• Effectively research and resolve invoice billing issues with customer and credit department.

Required Skills

• This position is responsible for receiving, dispatching and following up on customer’s stone orders and shipments.
