Key responsibilities

• Consult on major Environmental and Mining relating projects with opportunities to consult across Canada and internationally
• Development of key Environmental and Social Impact Assessments
• Performance of Due Diligence reviews
• Environmental Management Frameworks
• Preparation of Strategic Environmental Management Plans
• Preparation of Strategic Environmental Assessments
• Production of Assessment Reports
• Biodiversity Action Plans
• State of Environment Reporting
• Maintain and develop key client relationships
• Preparation of RFP, Proposal and Tender Documents

Requirements

• Degree in environmental science, geology or engineering; or a related natural science
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in environmental protection or management with proven experience consulting on mining related projects
• Demonstrable track record in the consulting engineering sector is a must
• Experience with environmental assessments, permitting, implementation of governmental environmental policy in one or more Canadian jurisdiction from either a regulatory or industry perspective
• Experience with the preparation of environmental impact statements
• Strong business development and client relationship management expertise
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
