OHSE Coordinator - Top Tier Head Contractor

Our client is a leading top-tier head contractor with a first class reputation and a solid pipeline of work from a loyal and expanding client base. As the leading expert of large scale residential developments - our client has a number of projects across the Sydney area ready to start.
 
Joining an established and successful team, you will be reporting in at both Project Manager and OHSE Manager level. You will be responsible for overseeing either a 1 massive project or two slightly smaller projects from a site base.
 
Key Responsibilities
Development, implementation and maintenance of all EH&S Policies and Procedures on site
Provide support and advice to Site Management and personnel so as to prevent injury to personnel, damage to plant and equipment, fire, ensuring environmental protections and site security
You will have the authority to intervene and stop site activity if EHS procedure and policies are not being adhered to.

Skills and Experience 

• Above all, must have prior recent experience operating as an OH&S Coordinator / Officer on large scale residential projects.
• preferably degree or Diploma qualified in OHS NEBOSH cert IV - Or Equivalent
• have Demonstrable experience developing and implementing EH&S policies and procedures
• possess excellent Communication Skills - both Verbal and Written
• Steady permanent work history with at least 5 years head contractor experience.
• You may have come from a Foreman or Site Manager background but must have at least 5 years dedicated OHS experience.
