Desktop Support Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• Desktop Support Analyst will work in a team environment providing computer provisioning and deployment services with a focus on delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include:
• Installation, configuration and deployment of Windows 7
• Basic desktop/laptop hardware installation and troubleshooting
• User state migrations
• Application installation and support
• Printer and plotter maintenance and support
• This position will be supporting local and remote users and may require occasional travel.

Job Requirements:

• Qualified candidates for this position should have a BA/BS or two years equivalent experience and three years recent experience providing user–facing systems support. Candidates must have experience with MS Office, Windows XP and Windows 7, excellent communication and documentation skills, and must be able to lift at least 75 pounds.
• Additional preferred skills include: incident management using ticketing system such as BMC Remedy, troubleshooting virus/malware issues, supporting users in remote offices via phone, email and IM, installation and support of engineering applications such as AutoCAD and ArcGIS, and familiarity with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager for OS Deployment.
