Senior Estimator

Progressive Global Energy are delighted to be working with one of the fastest growing privately owned engineering companies in Western Australia. Now employing 400 people and with forecasted growth of 20% this year they have recently tendered for, and won two additional projects. The company is extremely ambitious and is looking for like minded individuals to foster growth. Particular focus is now on the recruitment of Senior Estimator.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the senior estimator will be responsible for ensuring project schedules are kept on time and updated in accordance with the contract as well as developing accurate reports for management in accordance with projects. Preparation of written estimate clarifications (inclusions & exclusions) to accompany tender submissions will be an imperative part of the role. Secondary tasks will include the working from plans specifications and Assisting with progress claims and variation claims

To be successful in this role you must have;
• 5+ years estimating or Project Management experience in the mining industry
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills including MS Project
• Knowledge of refurbishment, rehabilitation, protection, assessment of materials
