Senior Electrical Estimator
Our Client:
Our client is a leading international supplier of electrical and electronic products to the power, mining and energy sectors. Due to recent expansion they not require a highly motivated and self driven experienced Electrical Estimator to join their growing team.
The Position;
The overall objective of this position as Senior Electrical Estimator is to devise quotes for shutdowns and call-outs; therefore you must have a high level of exposure to LV/MV/HV systems. Other key responsibilities of this position will include but not be limited to the following:
•Assist project teams to develop and validate project cost estimates.
•Liaise with new and existing clients.
•Conduct cost estimate reviews on projects as required to improve the accuracy of estimates.
•Prepare tender submissions and ensure tender deadlines are met.
•Development of cash flow forecasts.
•Mentor team members to facilitate the successful uptake of estimating standards, systems and methodology. Ensure the tender process is reviewed regularly to identify methods of improvement.
The Ideal Candidate:
To be considered for this role you must demonstrate a commercial understanding of contracting requirements. You will have tertiary qualifications or equivalent in a related discipline with a minimum 8 years experience with LV/MV/HV electrical systems. You must also have a background in the power, mining, oil and gas or utilities industries and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
