Description: Our Client is a well renowned leader in EPCM engineering services including maintenance, construction, infrastructure, mining, oil and gas. They are looking for experienced HSE Advisors to join one of their major projects in the Pilbara. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing business where you can utilise your HSE skill set.
In this diverse and challenging role you will be responsible for all HSE operations on site. These duties include but are not limited to:
•Provide HSE advice to the project team and ensure they comply with scope of work
•Ensure that the health and safety records are maintained on-site in accordance with statutory and project requirements
•Preparation of safety and environmental management plans
•Manage environmental incidents (investigating, reporting and correcting)
•Running of weekly and monthly reports and statistical information
•Develop, coordinate and deliver HSE training
•Conduct audits and be able to develop JHA's
The successful candidate will need to have a tertiary qualification in HSE or similar experience in the industry. In addition you will have led a team on HSE personnel. Proficient knowledge in relevant legislation, regulations and applicable standards, strong problem solving skills along with excellent communication and the ability to multi task are all a necessity. You will also be required to prepare HSE information for pre-starts and toolbox meetings and be able to provide the Superintendents with appropriate HSE advice. Previous iron ore and site experience is a must along with longevity and stability in previous positions. Salary is dependent on experience, but this company rewards their staff very well.
