QC Inspector - Mechanical/Welding
Our Client:
Highly reputable global organisation is seeking a highly motivated, driven and experienced Mechanical/Welding QC Inspector to join their growing team. This is an exciting time to join this international leader who has recently commenced work on a major new WA project.
The position:
Working on a FIFO roster; this role will include the following responsibilities:
•Undertake inspection activities in accordance with inspection and test plans, field inspection check sheets, other welding related documentation and contract requirements
•Undertake welding inspection to verify conformance with standards and client specifications
•Coordination and management of non-destructive testing activities
•Preparation of project Manufactures Data Reports
•other adhoc duties as required
To be considered for this position you must meet the following key attributes:
•Ideally you will come from a trade's background, NDT background with 7+ years QC experience
•Experience working in the oil and gas or energy industry
•Hold a Welding inspection qualification (WTIA, CSWIP or equivalent)
•Have high attention to detail
•Proficient in the usage of MS Word and MS Excel
