Mobile Plant Operator

Part of a diversified global group, the team at Consolidated Minerals are currently focusing on the expansion of our Pilbara Manganese and Chromite mining operations through exploration and development of our large regional land holding.

With a world renowned high grade deposit of Manganese which is essential to steel production, and an enviable track record of being one of the world's leading suppliers, we are well placed in the market and look forward to continued growth.
 
We are currently seeking a Mobile Plant Operator to join the team at our Pilbara Chromite Operation, situated 80kms south - east of Newman in the Pilbara region of WA. The right applicant will be offered a competitive remuneration package, a 2:1 roster FIFO from Perth, and will enjoy the working with a great team and positive site culture.
Reporting to the Mining Supervisor, the successful applicant will be required to:
  • Perform all work activities with the highest regards to industry safety standards.
  • Be self motivated, proactive, express a positive attitude and have a keen interest in pursuing a career in Open Pit Mining.
  • Work independently as well as part of the Production Mining team.
  • Be physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties safely.
  • Operate mobile plant equipment, predominantly CAT 773F Dump Trucks
  • Liaise with other mining and production personnel to complete tasks
Requirements to be successful in this role are:
  • Have a minimum of 6 months experience in operating 773 Dump Trucks in a Production Mining Environment.

  • Outgoing with strong initiative
  • Physically fit
  • Team player
  • Current HR driver's licence
