Mechanical Engineer - Materials Handling

Multiple roles available for experienced Mechanical Engineers specialising in materials handling to join an EPC in WA and work on numerous multimillion dollar mining projects. On offer is a long term contract and top rates of pay.

Mechanical Engineers of all levels who have a background in materials handling are immediately required to work on a number of multimillion dollar iron ore projects located in WA. Along with some of the industry’s highest contract rates the successful applicant will be working for a globally recognised EPCM with a long term contract on offer.

With these projects in the construction phase, there is an urgent need for Mechanical Engineers to come on board and make a real impact. Working for such a globally recognised EPC is not an opportunity to be missed.

General duties and responsibilities will be to: 
  • You will have to act as a technical advisor to the major contractors on site
  • To be able to assist with any design alterations or design faults
  • Planning and Scheduling for the overall completions on mechanical progress of the project
  • Guidance and mentoring to site and project engineering staff

As this is a major materials handling project, all applicants must show a proven track record in working on large scale mining projects and for the client or EPCM.

As an ideal candidate you will have:
Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline (Mechanical)
  • You MUST  3 years iron ore experience 
  • At least 3 to 5 years EPCM experience
  • An Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
