Document Controller

This Sydney based opportunity is available for a candidate with a background in Vendor Document Control and who has experience from previously working for a client team within O&G Industry. 

We are currently looking for a extremely competent Document Controller with at least 3 years experience within O&G industry for this liquid chemicals, oil & gas storage facility project in Sydney. Your experience from working on similar while assisting and overseeing the maintenance of the relevant contracts and other paperwork will contribute to the success of this Sydney based project.  With the ability to engage the project engineers and be fully conversant with the construction team, you will be the right candidate for this exciting opportunity. With a general understanding of project phases and management you will be responsible for handling construction deliverables within the document control system.

Your duties will include (but not be limited to) the following:
  •  Filing and archiving
  • General understanding of project phases and management
  • Writing Document Control procedures
  • Understanding of classification schemes
  • Ability to transmit and archive documents in accordance with Project standards
  • Managing a large number of documents concurrently and be able to organize these documents with a high degree of accuracy
To be successful you will have the following:
  • At least 3 years in a similar role essential
  • Previous experience in the O&G industry for Vendor and Design Documents essential
  • Previous Aconex experience essential
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Knowledge of Document Control processes
  • Microsoft Products, Electronic Data Management Systems
  • Advanced level in Microsoft software
