Senior Control Systems Engineer

Urgent requirement for a Senior Control Systems Engineer to join a globally recognised EPCM and work on this huge multibillion dollar mining project in WA. Funds have been secured so take advantage of a long term contract with top rates of pay.

The Senior Control Systems Engineer is expected to remain in the head office in Perth until March 2013 and then progress onto site. You will have extensive Schneider experience and site experience as you will be undertaking PLC work on Port systems such as sub-stations and conveyors. 

General duties and responsibilities will be to:
  • Electrical clearance and equipment specification experience
  • Estimation, delivery and review of projects on schedule
  • The development of action plans and continual assessment of output to correct any deficiencies
  • Being innovative in providing quality, cost-effective solutions
  • Ongoing maintenance of PLCs, SCADA and other control systems.
  • Undertaking all FAT work
This is an excellent opportunity to join a global EPCM with a fantastic reputation throughout Australia who have an extensive portfolio of projects. All candidates will have to demonstrate a proven track record working with in multimillion dollar projects. 

To be considered:
  • Extensive experience use of Schneider
  • Tertiary qualification in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • A high level of technical accuracy and experience
  • Excellent team involvement, mentoring, coordination and communication skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
