Processing Manager- Gold operation- FIFO overseas

I am currently seeking an experienced Processing Manager for a Gold producing mining client in Papua New Guinea.  This role will be offered on a FIFO basis from any major Australian city.
 
The successful candidate will manage the processing function to ensure that Processing Operations are optimised to meet long and short term production objectives and recovery rates.  The position will report into the General Manager
 
The applicant should have a significant background heading up a gold processing department within an Australian mining operation.  Any overseas experience would also be beneficial.  
 
Applicants should have:

  • Degree qualified plus tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy
  • A solid understanding of metallurgy processes, functions and interfaces in a Base Metals operation (preferably gold)
  • Proven leadership and management experience
  • High level communication skills
 
The mine site benefits from a refurbished processing plant and infrastructure and an attractive FIFO roster is available.  This is a great opportunity to gain overseas experience while continuing to live in Australia.
