Senior Mine Geologist - Underground

This company has World class operations, multiple development projects located across the globe as well as a large portfolio of exploration projects.
 
There is a team of about 7 Geologists at the moment with a vision to increase the team by another couple of Geologists in the near future. This Senior Mine Geologist role involves mentoring and training and has an element of resource modelling and estimation as well.
 
The company really looks after their employees and this is demonstrated through their high staff retention rate. Most of the Geologists have been there for about 2.5/ 3 years and the team has a variety of experience and are all eager to learn and soak up everything. You will be supported by the Geology Manager who has also been with the company for a long time and knows the ins and outs of the operation.
 
 A very substantial budget has already been approved and there are multiple projects on the go at the moment. Each of the Junior Geologists are given their own projects to run autonomously with your support. 
 
This is a good opportunity for a Senior Geologist looking to leave a larger company and have more autonomy and responsibility looking after a smaller team. In this environment you will have more control over the decision making processes and really make a difference to the operation- medium sized underground  mine.

To be considered for this role you will have a Bachelor of Science (Geology) with at least 6 years exp, previous mentoring experience required.
