About the company: Our client was formed over 50 years and has established themselves as one of Australia's leading ground engineering/piling companies. They are now part of one of the world's leading piling company's but still maintain the "local" approach to its customers. They are able to offer a wide range of ground engineering solutions and can call upon the group's global expertise. With offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne they have a significant portfolio of works currently underway and in the order book
 
About the Roles: Our client is seeking a number of Project Engineers to work from various offices across Australia. Reporting to a Project or Area Manager you will be involved in various piling techniques including bored piles, secant piles, CFA piling, sheet piling and diaphragm walls. This role will see you getting involved from the design/estimation stage through to initial site set up, pre start meetings all the way through to the final handover of the completed project. You will have a daily responsibility to ensure the safe, effective progression of the work teams and the project.
 
About the Requirements: Our client is seeking Project Engineers with the following attributes:
 
  • Tertiary qualified
  • 1-3 years experience in piling / ground engineering
  • Good analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of various piling techniques including bored piles, secant piles, CFA piling, sheet piling and diaphragm walls.
  • Solid report writing skills
  • Good communication skills with site staff, clients and contractors
  • Team Player
  • The ability to work unsupervised
  • Good problem solver/able to think and deal effectively with site issues
  • Be prepared to travel interstate (if required)
