About the Company:
My client is a leading mining contractor working on exciting mining projects throughout Western Australia. Due the rapid growth of their organization they now have vacancies for mining engineers with lots of scope for career development and progression and also the opportunity to work with a very successful and highly reputable mining contractor.
 
Responsibilities of the mining engineer role will include:
  • Maintaining and planning the operation and program of the mine.
  • Having a proactive approach to safety.
  • Providing support to the management and supervisory staff on technical and engineering issues.
  • Assisting the team and providing advice when required
  • Planning and scheduling works.
 
Requirements of the mine engineer include:
  • Mine Engineering qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years underground mining engineering experience.
  • Excellent communications skills and a proven track record in liaising with senior management and operational staff.
  • Relevant technical and production experience.
