About the Company: With over 20 years' experience within the fit-out/Refurb sector my client is regarded as one of the most versatile construction companies in Australia today. With experience in delivering projects within the commercial and retail sectors nationally they have grown to a business turning over in excess of $600M per annum and still growing.
 
About the Role: They have a need for a Site Manager who can handle projects from $2mil to $15mil. Also my client is looking for someone who will be able to travel from time to time.

Responsibilities of the Site Manager: Working closely with the Project Manager you will be responsible for site management duties across key construction projects which will included.
  • Effectively managing all site activities.
  • Managing and coordinating trades.
  • Managing OH&S.
  • Preparing short-term construction programs.
  • Delivering projects on time and budget.

Requirements of the Site manager: The successful applicant will need to be results orientated and a self-start Site Management with previous experience preferably with a leading Fit-out contractor.  In addition to this my client is also looking for the following attributes:
  • Carpentry Trade Qualifications.
  • Demonstrated Site Management experience on Commercial projects up to $10M.
  • High level Leadership and management skills and effective team management skills.
  • Comprehensive OHS knowledge.
  • Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organisation
  • Solid Programming and computer skills.
