Project Manager - Fit-Out/Refurb ($3M)

About the Company: With over 20 years' experience within the Fit-out/Refurb sector my client is regarded as one of the most versatile construction companies in Australia today. With experience in delivering projects within the commercial and retail sectors nationally they have grown to a business turning over in excess of $550M per annum and still growing.
 
About the Role: They have a need for a Project Manager who can handle projects from $200K to $5mil. Also my client is looking for someone who will be able to travel to Melbourne from time to time.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager: Reporting to the construction manager, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of projects within the constraints of cost and quality;
  • Managing clients and multiple projects at once;
  • Managing the Site Team and Contracts Administrators

Requirements of the Project manager: The successful applicant will need to be results orientated and a self-starter Project Management with previous experience preferably with a leading Fit-out contractor.  In addition to this my client is also looking for the following attributes:

  • Proven experience delivering commercial Fit-out and Refurb projects up to $8M
  • Solid financial reporting and admin skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organisation
  • An energetic and dynamic approach to construction
  • Sound business acumen
