About the Company: As a leader in their field, my client has established a reputation and client base in the construction industry that is second to none. This top company is looking to advance with an experienced Estimator to assist with their tendering process for new growth and have strong involvement in current projects.
 
About the Role: As an Estimator, you will have had experiences with contractors who have worked on projects in excess of $10million.
 
Responsibilities of the Estimator: As an Estimator you will be expected to work both independently and within a team reporting to the Estimating Manager.
  • Monitoring and involvement in current projects
  • Involvement in tendering process to minimise the exposure or risk to margin.
  • Adhere to deadlines
  • Provide accurate construction cost estimates and cost planning advice with the full construction process
  • Provide accurate plans which adhere to approved programme in accordance to the client's requirements
  • Focus on successful delivery of project in a profitable manner
About the Benefits: As a result the business is very profitable and estimators earn above market salaries with an attractive bonus system in place. 

Requirements for the Estimator: 
you will need to be tertiary qualification within Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Survey with at least 5 years industry experience. In addition to this our client is also looking for the following attributes:

  • Working Rights within Australia is mandatory
  • Minimum 5 years experience in commercial construction estimating and cost planning
  • Strong knowledge of Cost Control and Buildsoft software
  • Experience working on $2m-$10m+ commercial projects
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
