Senior Mining Engineer (Pre-production to Production)

  • Kalgoorlie Residential role with Relocation Assistance

  • Developing Company with opportunities to move to a Quarry Manager role

SSA is currently looking for a Senior Mining Engineer with several years of experience in Open Pit & Underground mining and currently holding a Quarry Manager and/or a Mine Manager's ticket.
  
Some of the responsibilities of the position will include:
  • Assisting in pre-production mining work.
  • Completion of pit designs, drill and blast designs, scheduling and budgeting for future open pit mining.
  • Pre-production to production stages
  
Minimum requirements for the role:
  • Several years of experience in open pit mining & underground planning
  • Holder of a Quarry Manager and/or a Mine manager's ticket
  • Excellent understanding of Australian legislation and OHS
  • Experience in either GEMS or Surpac  (desirable)
This position is a residential in Kalgoorlie. NO FIFO options available.
