Principal Geotechnical Engineers / Rock Mechanics (Mining)

Our client is a leading Geotechnical, environmental and groundwater consulting firm.   

The Principal Rock Mechanics / Geotechnical Engineer (mining)duties:
  • Over-see, assist and improve designs foe metalliferous mines
  • Providing Specialised Geotechnical Advise
  • Technical review of geotechnical reports
  • Geotechnical Design and analysis
  • Assist and approve designs for metalliferous mines
   
 Skills and Experience required: 

  
• Design of stopes and sub level caves.
• Design of general service excavations, including shafts, chambers, bins, and drives.
• Have a reasonably strong numerical background, preferably in the Itasca suit of programs (FLAC3D and 3DEC).
