MINING MANAGER - INTERNATIONAL
Located in the stunning tropical islands of the Pacific rim, this operation has been the site of continuous operations since the early 90s. It has been producing at around the 75k oz/an level but recent upgrades to the processing plant mean that there is now the capacity and intention to up this production over the 100k oz/an mark.
You will be well supported in this push by the technical team of 12 nationals and expats across the Mining department as well as an Australian based Tech Services team. The site based team will provide you with invaluable local knowledge to overcome issues including the high rainfall and steep terrain. These figures have been the result of the change in the senior management and their direction over the past three years. The focus of this role will be to channel this direction to the national and expat staff and ensure safe and effective mining operations.
The 28/14 roster would allow you to fly back to Australia between swings or, better still, explore the surrounding tropical Pacific Rim region. FIFO ex-Brisbane or other centres.
