The Client
Our client is a well funded Junior Mining company working out of Sydney but with projects across Eastern seaboard of Australia. Our client's focus is on the prospective exploration of sites with Copper, Gold and base metals deposits.

The Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Exploration Geologist to join its exploration team on a permanent basis. You will be on a based locally in a major town in Coastal NSW on a FIFO basis. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company with a small but experienced team. The successful applicant will be based in mid-northern NSW. Perfect role for Senior Geologist looking for long term, permanent work offering stability and coastal living.

Responsibilities

• Identification of Copper, Gold and Base Metal deposits
• Planning, implementation and management of regional exploration and resource definition drilling programs
• Coordination of deep drilling teams
• Provide analysis, interpretation and modelling of data

Requirements

• Degree qualification in a Geology or other Earth Science discipline
• A proven track record of experience in discovery focus exploration in Copper, Gold and other Base Metals
• Proficiency with Mapinfo
• Strong experience of working withing budget and delivering projects on time
• Strong external and internal stakeholder consultation
