Technical Mining Sales & Business Development Rockhampton
Our Adelaide born National Sales Manager relocated to Rockhampton three years ago. He figured that instead of waiting around for SA mining projects to get moving, he would live somewhere where large industrial projects were already underway and investment pipelines were guaranteed.
Since that time, he has become an important part of our team. He has built another sucesssful technical mining sales business within our group and has been promoted as a result of hard work and ethical endeavour.
That's what our sales staff do: they see the opportunity, they like the culture, they love the back office and away they go building another empire.
We sell abrasion and corrosion technology. We have the best industrial coatings products in Australia, and none of our competitors will ever match us for quality, service and performance. A big statement, but it's true. It's been that way for 15 years.
We have staff across Australia who are strongly supported by a dedicated infrastructure group based at our Sydney Head Office. You sell, we back you up with our project, logistics, engineering and administration staff.
You will be responsible for managing some of our existing accounts and the expectation is that you will be very proactive in bringing in your own customers once you become established in the role and the team.
We will support you, give you as much help as we can to ensure you feel like a part of our innovative, hugely successful team of happy campers. But you must bring the right attitude; you must have the utmost respect for your customers and your team mates.

Salary - Base salary plus unlimited commissions plus expenses (car allowance, phone, communication etc)
Ideal candidate - previous industrial sales experience will be very relevant. You must have a strong mechanical aptitude. Prior self employment experience will be highly regarded as this position is very autonomous and will require you to work independently because we do not micro-manage our people.
This position is suited to a sales professional wanting to enter the mining sector in a business development capacity, not just someone dreaming about making a squillion dollars overnight by breaking their back on site and spending half their life catching planes.
