Leading Australian Mining operator with Open cut and underground operations across Australia. With full operational roles across the entire mine site which is located in Queenslands Bowen Basin. Currently operating between 3.5 and 5.7Mt per annum depending on requirements.

A position for a Senior Site Accountant is available, your role will be to assist the Finance Manager to lead the team in ensuring operational and financial targets are met across the project. You will come with substantial experience in an open cut coal mine operation, your responsibilities will include end of month accounting, process and managing the sites chart of accounts. You will complete all journal entries for EOM accruals and reallocations, report on costs, gather and develop all data for progress claims and contract valuations. You will ensure all financial and commercial compliance is met.

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting
• CPA or be working towards
• Minimum 3 years financial experience
• Strong capability and budget development experience
