Equipment Operator

Our client is currently looking for a full-time permanent Equipment Operator. As the leading manufacturer of above-ground storage tanks, our client works with in all the major industries including oil and gas, mining, transportation, construction, waste management and other major industrial industries. This position is shift work-based and often requires working extra hours. Basic shifts are 7am-3:30pm and 4pm-12:30am currently, but may change at any time.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating mobile cranes and forklifts
• Report any issues with equipment through proper channels
• Ensure equipment safety and a high level of machine efficiency.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Mobile crane and forklift experience is preferred
• Candidates with forklift and crane tickets are desired but tickets are not a requirement for this role
• 1+ year in a similar role would be a definite asset
• Must be physically fit and comfortable working on exposed heights up to 60ft.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors throughout the year.
• Great organizational and communication skills.
